Mr. Tanenbaum is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. Limited, a private investment holding company with various business interests, including, in the past, an interest in the Warren Paving & Materials Group Limited which became a part of the Company in December 2000. Mr. Tanenbaum, age 59, is also an owner and Chairman of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd. (owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team and the Toronto Raptors basketball team) and a member of the Board of Governors of the National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League. Mr. Tanenbaum has served as a director of the Company since 2001.
